Syntura Launches East Africa’s First AI-Powered Collaboration and Security Experience Hub in Nairobi
NAIROBI, March 28, 2025 — In a bold step toward redefining digital transformation in East Africa, Syntura has officially launched the Syntura Experience Centre in Nairobi—the region’s first innovation hub focused on secure collaboration and AI-powered workplace solutions.
More than 75 senior industry leaders and executives gathered for the exclusive launch event, marking a major milestone in Syntura’s Africa expansion. The high-energy evening brought together regional and global leaders, sparking insightful conversations on the future of work, digital transformation, and the growing role of AI in business.
The launch quickly gained momentum in the press, with coverage from major outlets including KBC and CIO Africa, further cementing Syntura’s role in Kenya’s evolving tech landscape.
“The future of work is intelligent, secure, and seamlessly connected,” said Chris Evans, Group Managing Director at Syntura. “Our new Experience Centre is designed to help businesses navigate this transformation by showcasing how secure collaboration and advanced communication solutions, enhanced by AI, can drive workplace innovation. We have mobilised significant investments in Kenya and will continue to do so, recognising the immense potential in East Africa.”
Following the recent appointment of Anthony Muiyuro as Regional Director for East Africa, the Experience Centre underscores Syntura’s long-term commitment to the region’s digital future.
“The Syntura Experience Centre will play a pivotal role in contributing to Kenya’s AI and technology revolution,” Muiyuro added. “It empowers firms of all sizes to experiment, innovate, and bring AI-driven solutions to life—while maintaining the highest security standards.”
The event’s highlight was a panel discussion titled “AI, Cybersecurity, and the Future of the Digital Workplace”, featuring industry leaders Brenda Mbathi (CEO, TRIFIC), Frank Molla (MD-Africa, MDP), and Moses Kemibaro (Founder & CEO, DotSavvy). The panel offered practical insights on how organisations can adapt, evolve, and thrive using modern technologies.
Charles Kimani, Channel Manager at Westcon-Comstor Africa, reflected on the collaboration:
“Westcon-Comstor Africa takes immense pride in our strategic partnership with Syntura. This collaboration allows us to deliver seamless, all-around solutions and personalised services that meet and exceed customer expectations.”
The Experience Centre also aligns with the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa (2020–2030), supporting the continent’s drive toward a more connected and resilient digital economy.
The launch of the Syntura Experience Centre marks another step in our mission to empower businesses across East Africa with secure, AI-driven innovation. As organisations continue to embrace digital transformation, the centre provides a space to explore and experience what’s possible.
