The customer

DEOS Consultancy provides connectivity and data management services to mobile medical screening units of NHS trusts and private medical providers.

DEOS’s system securely transfers scan images to PACS (picture archiving and communication systems) and can let staff in mobile units update patient records and appointment booking systems in real-time.

The DEOS solution can be retrofitted to most medical vehicles and is recommended by specialist vehicle manufacturer WH Bence Coachworks.

DEOS’s service is helping the NHS tackle its waiting lists and deploy additional capacity at locations convenient to patients. Its digital services are helping patients get diagnosed and treated faster.

NHS data security requirements met – DEOS Consultancy is able to connect to HSCN-based systems, including NHS trust Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). Supports DEOS’s value proposition to clients – DEOS’s customers mobile units can access up-to-date patient lists and access patient records in real-time, via HSCN. They can upload digital images in minutes. Open slots resulting from no-shows and early completions can be opened up to last-minute bookings. Clients no longer have to physically transfer records, re-key information unnecessarily or transfer patient data without encryption.
Service can scale to meet rising demand – As DEOS gains new customers, it can accommodate them with its existing backend infrastructure.
Solid reliability – Digital workloads are hosted by Syntura’s resilient hosting platform across multiple data centres. To maximise service availability further, the hosting and the HSCN connectivity are monitored and supported 24/7.
